About Us:

The idea to establish the Silver-Studio came almost as a afterthought for the owners, Utta and Ulrich Guenther. Ulrich had been involved in the running of golf tournaments at the Frankfurt Golf Club and as such was responsible for providing prizes.

Utta, who had always had a special interest in silver, gave the initial support. Starting out as a small business, buying objects at Fairs such as Firenze (Italy) and Milano (Italy), Utta and Ulrich quickly grew the business and by 1976 were ready to establish the Silver-Studio in a store in Frankfurt's inner city.

Through many friends and acquaintances and word-of-mouth advertisement, more and more business came to the Silver-Studio and another store was opened in 1979 in the foyer of the Frankfurter Hof.

Then in 1985 this store was moved to Kaiserplatz where you will find its present location. 
The children of Utta and Ulrich Guenther have shown a will and desire to produce quality silver merchandise in the same tradition as their parents.

Daughter Evi Guenther has shown her competence through her now ten years successful "Silver Trend" line.

Son Lorenz Guenther, who has embraced the internet as an additional marketing tool, caters to the special requests of clients with his motto "Nothing is impossbile." The contribution of the whole family had led to the fact that the Silver-Studio now has a collection of over 13,000 silver and silver-plated articles and is counted as one of the largest silver businesses in Germany.
